Advance Your Practice series
Deepen and refine your yoga practice. Explore physical and energetic alignment principles through breath and postural work – to find more precision and subtlety in familiar poses and make those ‘out of reach’ challenging poses more accessible. Each session will have a particular focus, and we’ll work progressively towards some fun (and optional!) ‘peak’ poses (think backbends, arm balances, inversions).
The small-group workshop format allows space for practice, demonstration and discussion, plenty of individual guidance and a lovely long relaxation. Available to book as single sessions or join for the whole series.
Suitable for students with 1+ years of regular practice.

I teach a monthly, open level, Saturday morning class at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We rove around over the course of the year – practising in different galleries, alongside different exhibitions. In the summer, we often have our session out in the park. We take inspiration from the art and from the landscape as we breathe, move and connect.
The yoga practice is followed by a deep relaxation session accompanied by the magical, nurturing sound of the gong. Afterwards we gather together for chatter and a delicious breakfast of pastries, granola, yoghurt and warm drinks. If you like this kind of thing, it’s really a wonderful way to start the weekend.
