A gentle, seated, slower-paced yoga class.
Anyone can benefit from this type of practice, and everyone is welcome. This is an accessible class and is ideal for those who have limited mobility or energy, chronic conditions or disabilities – or are recovering from illness.
A typical class will include movements and postures – all of which are done seated and can be adapted as necessary for each individual – as well as more traditional practices such as breathing exercises and meditation/mindfulness, with the aim of supporting both good physical and mental wellbeing.
This is a relaxed, friendly and supportive class – open to everyone – particularly those who would like to try yoga but feel unable, for whatever reason, to attend a mat-based class. No prior knowledge or experience is required.
